Troubleshooting

This section helps you resolve common issues you might encounter while using CodeValid. If you continue to experience issues after following the steps below, please contact us for assistance.

1. Content Breakdown Not Generated​

  • Issue: The Content Breakdown is not appearing for your specification.
  • Solution:
    1. Make a small change in your specification Markdown file.
    2. Click Save (Cmd + S / Ctrl + S).
    3. This will trigger CodeValid to regenerate the Content Breakdown automatically.

2. Specification Advisor Not Showing Up​

  • Issue: The Specification Advisor is not displaying suggestions.
  • Cause: This can happen when you enable a specification advisor for the first time.
  • Solution:
    1. Make a minor change in your specification Markdown file.
    2. Click Save to trigger the Specification Advisor.
    3. Suggestions should now appear under the Content Breakdown section.

Tip: Most issues with missing content or advisors can be resolved by saving a change in your specification, which triggers CodeValid to re-analyze the content.
